Free Practice Friday was a day of data gathering and learning at the Canadian GP, For Alpine it was difficult, filled with spins for Franco Colapinto and tyre testing for both drivers. Canada is known for its tight walls and unforgiving kerbs, with significantly less grip than Barcelona. Lance Stroll withdrew from the Spanish GP after facing a flare up from his wrist injury in 2023, Mike Krack the Chief trackside officer spoke about Stroll’s withdrawal and the plans for the upcoming Canadian GP. Ferrari jumped Mercedes and Red Bull in the constructors into P2 after the European triple header, but team principal, Frédéric Vasseur, he wants the prancing horses to aim higher. Before the triple header, Ferrari’s season prospects looked bleak.
