Lewis Hamilton secured a strong P6 at the Canadian GP. Despite the seven-time World Champion’s disappointment after qualifying on Saturday, he appeared satisfied with his performance in the race. Scuderia Ferrari have had a tricky weekend at the Canadian GP. With Charles Leclerc’s crash in FP1, and Lewis Hamilton not feeling comfortable with the car, the weekend has been quite the challenge for both drivers. Mercedes has enjoyed a strong weekend in Canada so far with both drivers consistently improving during the free practice sessions and making it to the top five in Qualifying. After scoring his first points of the season in Barcelona, Fernando Alonso hopes to continue this stint at the Canadian GP. The Spanish driver lines up P6 on Sunday, after an impressive lap in qualifying. Despite having a clean Friday, the Haas team will be looking for possibilities to extract more from the car this weekend. While both drivers managed to slightly improve from FP1 to FP2, their pace did not appear to be particularly quick. The Canadian GP is the 200th Grand Prix for the Haas team and they will be hoping to make it a memorable one. So far, the weekend has proved to be tricky for the team. After undergoing a procedure for his wrist pain, Lance Stroll came back in record time in hopes to be prepared for his home grand prix. Unfortunately, FP2 came to a quick end for the home hero when he touched the wall at turn 7 and suffered damage to the car.
