Lewis Hamilton secured a strong P6 at the Canadian GP. Despite the seven-time World Champion’s disappointment after qualifying on Saturday, he appeared satisfied with his performance in the race. When speaking in the media pen after the race, Hamilton was asked if there was damage to the car. Scuderia Ferrari have had a tricky weekend at the Canadian GP. With Charles Leclerc’s crash in FP1, and Lewis Hamilton not feeling comfortable with the car, the weekend has been quite the challenge for both drivers. Despite the circumstances, Hamilton managed to secure a P5 finish in Saturday’s Qualifying. Mercedes has enjoyed a strong weekend in Canada so far with both drivers consistently improving during the free practice sessions and making it to the top five in Qualifying. Despite having a clean Friday, the Haas team will be looking for possibilities to extract more from the car this weekend. While both drivers managed to slightly improve from FP1 to FP2, their pace did not appear to be particularly quick. After undergoing a procedure for his wrist pain, Lance Stroll came back in record time in hopes to be prepared for his home grand prix.
