Envision Racing have announced that Johnathan Hoggard and Zak O’Sullivan will drive for the team at Formula E’s Berlin Rookie Test. The test will take place on July 14, at the Tempelhof Airport circuit. Hoggard is currently Envision’s simulator driver, but July’s Rookie Test will be his first opportunity in an all-electric GEN3 EVO Formula E car. The Berlin Rookie Test will be O’Sullivan’s second time in the Envision car, having debuted in the 2025 Jeddah Rookie Test. Jamie Chadwick and Leonardo Fornaroli will be driving for Jaguar TCS Racing at the Formula E Berlin Rookie Test. It takes place at the Tempelhof Airport circuit, on July 14th. The Berlin outing will be Chadwick’s third of the season in the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 – having driven in the Women’s Test in Madrid and Jeddah Rookie Test. Max Verstappen has thanked Christian Horner for their successes and memories together, after Red Bull Racing sacked Horner. Red Bull announced the departure of Horner on Wednesday, after the Briton led the team through all of its Formula 1 seasons to date. Under his leadership, Red Bull won 124 races and six Constructors’ Championships. The sacking has seen a reshuffle take place at Red Bull, with Laurent Mekies replacing Horner as Red Bull CEO, while Racing Bulls have promoted Alan Permane to Team Principal at Racing Bulls. David Malukas is hoping to continue his strong oval form with a good result at the Iowa Speedway in the IndyCar Iowa double header. Malukas is on course for his best IndyCar season to date heading into Iowa. The American is sitting P12 in the Championship Standings after 10 races. George Russell had a disappointing afternoon at the 2025 F1 British Grand Prix, as he finished P10 in a wet-dry race. Russell had been hoping for the cold weather to benefit his Mercedes, but the conditions proved too much as a number of drivers struggled. The Briton was competing around the top five until an ill-timed stop, which saw Russell fit slick tyres a few laps too early. Lola Yamaha ABT have announced that Alessandro Giusti and Hugh Barter will drive for the team during the Formula E Berlin Rookie Test. The test, which takes place on Monday, 14 July at Berlin’s Tempelhof Street Circuit, is ideal for teams to evaluate young talent. The Tempelhof Street Circuit will see eighteen-year-old Giusti make his debut in Formula E machinery. Christian Lundgaard delivered a solid performance to cross the line P3 at the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, securing his fourth podium of the season. The driver of the No. 7 Arrow McLaren suggested that experienced heads would prevail in the race and was correct – as Scott Dixon grabbed victory ahead of Alex Palou. Lando Norris took victory in an exciting F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, ahead of McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri and Nico Hulkenberg on the podium. The 2025 British GP was certainly dramatic, with five drivers retiring and changing conditions bringing the best out of Norris in front of the ‘Landostand’. The result sees Norris close the gap on Piastri to only eight points in the Driver’s Standings. Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak secured his first win in Formula 3 with victory at the Silverstone Sprint, becoming the first Thai winner since Alex Albon. Inthraphuvasak started on pole due to the reverse grid and delivered a commanding performance to take the chequered flag in P1. Inthraphuvasak held off Martinius Stenshorne and Campos teammate Mari Boya in doing so. Oliver Bearman qualified in P8 at the 2025 F1 British Grand Prix, but the Haas driver will start the race in 18th due to a grid penalty. In any other circumstance, the British driver’s excellent qualifying performance would be widely celebrated. However, an unfortunate crash in FP3 gave him a 10-place grid penalty.
