F1 Academy Champion Abbi Pulling departs Alpine for the upcoming 2025 season, with the British driver focusing on her new role as a Rodin Cars ambassador.
The move comes as Pulling prepares for her next challenge, a fully funded seat in the GB3 Championship.
A New Chapter for Pulling
Pulling secured the 2024 F1 Academy title whilst being a part of the Rodin and Alpine teams. However, despite the success achieved with the Formula 1 team, they parted ways.
The Alpine Formula 1 Team released a statement acknowledging Pulling’s departure, saying:
“Following the announcement from Rodin Cars earlier today, Abbi Pulling and her team have decided to pursue other career opportunities, which allow her to become a professional driver, meaning Abbi is no longer part of the Alpine Academy. From everyone at BWT Alpine Formula One Team, we wish Abbi every success in the future, not only as a race driver but also as a positive role model for young women in sport.”
Pulling also thanked The Alpine Formula 1 Team for their consistent efforts of support.
Pulling’s new role
Ending her run at Alpine is not the last we will see of the reigning F1 Academy champion. Pulling has secured a new ambassadorial role with Rodin Cars, marking a significant step in her career. Aligning herself more closely with the brand has been crucial to her recent success. Furthermore, Pulling continues strengthening this partnership working with Rodin in British F4 and F1 Academy and is set to continue this partnership as she moves up to GB3.
Pulling was extremely delighted about this new era for herself, stating:
“I’m really excited to extend my relationship with Rodin Cars and become an ambassador for the brand. We have already had some brilliant success together in British F4 and F1 Academy. I can’t wait for what’s to come in this next chapter as I take on GB3 with the team.”

2025 plans for Pulling
Now that the British driver is firmly part of the Rodin team, Pulling will be focused on securing yet another title. Winning F1 Academy inspired Abbi Pulling to aim for higher levels of single-seater racing.
With a fully funded seat secured, she will have the resources and support needed to continue her progression up the motorsport ladder. She hopes to become the first female F1 driver since Giovanna Amati in 1992.
Abbi Pulling has begun preparations for her upcoming GB3 season. Following her dominant F1 Academy showcase, she will most definitely be a force to be reckoned with in this new category.
