Felipe Drugovich makes his Formula E debut with Mahindra Racing at the 2025 Formula E Berlin E-Prix. Substituting for Nyck de Vries, who will race in the FIA World Endurance Championship on the same weekend as the Berlin E-Prix. The Brazilian will step into de Vries’ car for the double header in Berlin.
From F2 Champion to Reserve Driver for the Aston Martin F1 Team
Drugovich is no stranger to single-seater racing. While he climbed through the junior ranks, Drugovich picked up more than one trophy on his way. Becoming champion in Euroformula Open and the FIA Formula 2. Since 2022, Drugovich is part of the Aston Martin F1 Team as a Reserve Driver. The Brazilian is no stranger to all electric racing. Even though he never did race competitively in Formula E.
Recently, Drugovich drove a successful test for Mahindra in a car that is built to Formula E’s latest GEN3 Evo regulations. In 2023 and 2024, Drugovich drove the Formula E Rookie Tests, coming first in 2023.

Bertrand excited about Drugovich being behind the wheel for Mahindra in Berlin
CEO and Team Principal, Frederic Bertrand, was happy to welcome the Brazilian for the Berlin E-Prix. Confirming Drugovich early on, gave them the chance to prepare him accordingly. Those preparations could help the Brazilian in showing his hard work and its result on track. Giving the young driver an opportunity to show the racing world “what he can do.”
