The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team has officially confirmed the signing of Spanish Formula 3 driver Mari Boya as the first member of its newly launched Driver Academy. This marks a significant step in the team’s long-term investment in developing future racing talent.
The academy aims to identify and nurture the next generation of drivers with the potential to reach F1. Boya, who currently races in the F3 championship with Campos Racing, will be actively involved in development work with the team. He will also play a key role in supporting technological projects at the AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone, allowing him to explore the inner workings of an F1 team.
Boya has built an impressive resume across both national and international competitions. After finishing runner-up in the 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup, the 21-year-old has competed in F3 since 2023. Recently earned himself a standout podium finish on the streets of Monaco.
For Boya, this brings him a step closer to a childhood dream.

The Spaniard described the opportunity as a pivotal moment in his racing career. One that will help him learn and grow as much as possible.

Aston Martin Academy Updates
This signing has begun a new era of Aston Martin’s driver development program. The newly created academy aims to create long-term relationships between the team and emerging talents. Allowing them a comprehensive pathway that includes a range of initiatives. Namely, racecraft development, physical training, media coaching, simulator work, and hands-on learning at race weekends.

Alongside this, Aston Martin has entered into a strategic partnership with DPK Racing. The official team of the FA Alonso Kart chassis. This collaboration helps to strengthen the Academy’s presence at the grassroots level. Once again, helping to enhance promising talent early in their careers.
